Dr. Segal is one of the founding members of Rochester Radiology. He is a distinguished and nationally recognized radiologist specializing in imaging of the genitourinary system, especially the kidneys and bladder. He is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology (FACR) and Fellow of the Society of Uroradiology, both prestigious honors, and has long been an Examiner for the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Segal has delivered more than 80 presentations at local, national and international meetings and published 55 journal articles and five book chapters. He has edited three editions of the American College of Radiology’s Manual on Contrast Media. He is the Past President of the New York State Radiological Society and the Rochester Roentgen Ray Society and has been a visiting lecturer and numerous distinguished institutions. Dr. Segal is the recipient of the 2007 Rochester Business Journal Healthcare Achievement Award, the 2007 Lifetime Achievement Award of the Society of Uroradiology, and the 2008 & 2010 American Board of Radiology Distinguished Service Award. Dr. Segal has also been a favorite teacher of the radiology residents, teaching the fundamentals of diagnostic imaging to advanced genitourinary imaging for over three decades.

Dr. Segal and his wife, Joan, live in Pittsford. Their two children grew up in Pittsford and are now physicians on the faculties of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Iowa, respectively.
