About Us

“Imaging…With Insight”

About UsRochester Radiology offers Imaging with Insight—a superior level of diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic services. As educators as well as practicing radiologists, our extensive training, years of experience, and depth of subspecialty expertise allow us to read images with unmatched precision and accuracy. Our top priority? Helping referring providers give the best possible treatment and care.

We also offer exceptional insight into patient needs. When patients visit us, they may be worried about their health or nervous about the procedure at hand. Our warm and caring staff understands these feelings—and strives to reassure patients and support them every step of the way.

Imaging with Insight—it’s the key benefit of working with Rochester Radiology. However, many other factors set us apart as well:

Rochester Radiology is accredited by:

  • The American College of Radiology (ACR) in recognition of high standards in quality of work, physician performance, and staff efficiency
  • Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

Prompt Turnaround

We pride ourselves on giving referring providers fast, responsive service, including same-day urgently requested exams. Reports are generated immediately after images are read, and images and reports are available to referring providers 24/7 through our online web portal.

Convenient Locations

We offer easy-to-reach locations for patients in many communities, with offices on Portland Avenue and at the Medical Office Building next to Rochester General Hospital, Fairport, and additional hospital locations in Monroe and Wayne counties.

Free Parking

Parking for our patients is always on the house and just a few steps away from our front door. At our Medical Office Building location, park for free in the Carter Street ramp garage.

We accept most insurance, including Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, MVP, Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, and Workers Compensation, to name a few.

We provide imaging services for Rochester General Hospital and Newark-Wayne Community Hospital. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services are offered at Rochester Diagnostic Imaging (RDI).

"Before the procedure, I couldn't sleep in bed and had to sleep in a chair ... afterwards, I have been able to sleep in bed and get up independently the majority of the time. I still have some pain, but take less pain medications, and my quality of life has improved."
